Director of the General Directorate of Traffic Safety and Land Transportation (Digesett), Pascual Cruz Méndez, stated that the crash resulted from the driver’s recklessness and poor tire conditions.
Authorities have not yet identified the deceased victim or the injured individuals. Responders from Digesett, National Emergency Response System 9-1-1, and Fire Department were on the scene.
