Francisco Domínguez Brito of the Dominican Liberation Party called on the population, especially young people on motorcycles, to drive with caution during Holy Week. He emphasized the importance of safe driving to prevent accidents, particularly among motorcyclists, during this holiday period.
He highlighted the need for families to be a priority when making decisions on the road, stressing the devastating impact of tragedies on Dominican homes. Domínguez Brito’s statements were made after attending the Chrism Mass at the Pontifical Catholic Mother and Teacher University (PUCMM) in Santiago during Holy Week activities.
«Love for family should prevail when making decisions on the streets,» he said. Monseñor Héctor Rafael Rodríguez presided over the religious ceremony as part of Holy Week observances.
